Deck’d is an interior design MVP that connects AI-generated room redesigns with a shopping experience. A user uploads a room photo, explores a generated redesign, and discovers products through a shop-the-look flow.
The experience
The interface includes room-photo uploads, a draggable before-and-after comparison, product carousels, and shoppable recommendations. The comparison makes the generated result easier to understand in the context of the original room.
The stack
Next.js provides the application foundation. Payload CMS and MongoDB support content and commerce, the Vercel AI SDK connects AI functionality, and Stripe supports payments. Tailwind CSS and Embla Carousel support the interface.
Relevant experience
This project combines AI integration with the rest of a product: uploads, content management, commerce, and an interface for exploring results. It is relevant to AI-assisted creative tools and e-commerce applications.
